A lot of good players end up at utc. ie...lavonte Barber, Tony Swafford, Josef Rutley. These are players we all thought would play somewhere else, big, but all end up at utc. I'm just glad the kid is playing somewhere.

...You are exactly right...you gotta' do what you gotta' do...many players who start out at D-1 end up D-1AA...it's no shame to play ball at any level...you still have to concentrate and graduate 'cause that's what it's all about!!!

Brent Hayes was the most overrated LB i've ever played against. Ask anybody that played against him last season. They guy could've been great, but he always had someone or something to blame for his misfortune. He didn't play hard because he thought his coaches stunk. This time last year ya'll predicted him to go to UT, tack another letter onto that, and thats where he went.

College is college no matter how many letters you have in the name! Who can say that they played on Sat.? Didn't a guy named Terrell Owens go to a college named maybe U.T oh and add a "C"!!!! A lot of good players have went to U.T.C

I think Central is scrimmaging Lookout valley, not sure, thats just what i heard. As for BenHasRisen, everybody knows he is a jerk, and probably never played football. He always post negative things about Central. Hayes was one heck of a player, you got to remember he came back from a very bad knee injury, that does hinder your speed somewhat. One thing Hayes can say that BenHasRisen cannot say is that hayes is playing college ball and BHR is wishing he was.

I think Central is scrimmaging Lookout valley, not sure, thats just what i heard.  As for BenHasRisen,  everybody knows he is a jerk, and probably never played football.  He always post negative things about Central.  Hayes was one heck of a player, you got to remember he came back from a very bad knee injury, that does hinder your speed somewhat.  One thing Hayes can say that BenHasRisen cannot say is that hayes is playing college ball and BHR is wishing he was.

no, I have not played against Brent Hayes, theres a little bit of an age difference, but ive watched him play the last three years. theres a lot of people that can say they played HS football, its not that big of a deal, what, were you the kicker?

If he was a player, I guarantee he didn't spend any time watching Brent hayes to see what he did on plays. Doesn't matter, the kid was a beast, and he is playing on Saturday. Hayes only had 18 tackles against Hixson. and made every tackle on two drives back to back. I have seen a lot of high school middle linebackers in my time, and Hayes ranks up there with some of the best.

HAYES WAS ALL HYPE, IF YOU WATCHED HIM CLOSELY,U WOULD REALIZE THAT HE NEVER MADE TACKLES BEHING THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE, OPPOSING PLAYER ALWAYS GAINED 1 OR 2 YARDS BEFORE INITIAL CONTACT....GREAT LBS MEET BALL CARRIER BEHIND THE LINE.

I checked my Murphy Fair magazine and saw Hixson put up 47 points against Central..I was suprised because the way yall were talking about Hayes was all over the field against them I was expecting a low number but 47 points!? he must have made every tackled 25 yards down field
