south-doyle is 1-20 over the last 2 plus years?  What is wrong with this program and what can be done to fix it?  I thought with their move to 4A and their easier schedule they could get into the play-offs

Carter is now a 3-A team and former Reg 3-4A cellar team, if this loss tells you anything about 4-A. The Cherokees just moved to what may be the toughest region in the state.

yea but some obvious holding calls were missed.....prolly both ways....my hair wasnt in my eyes dont worry its not that long....but when the QB scrambled on 3rd and 12 from his own endzone a few plays before the long TD pass....there was obvious holding that was called....and there was holding on the end everytime the end around was ran

South-Doyle is in for a long season. The best chance they have for a win is against Clinton, and I'm not betting on SD in that one either.

from watching south doyle when the scrimmaged mo'west, i can only tell they they have good corners, thats about it. they tried to stuff the box and still got ran on by west. so i dont see them going far.

I dont think we should give up on South Doyle just yet. It seems they really didnt play to their full potential at all against Carter. I think the Cherokees will suprise a lot of people this Friday night.

did this program not have success at different times throughout its history, I even saw a 10-0 before its consolidation. What has happened there? Don't know much about the area but if they were in the play-offs in 5A as recently as 2001 then why have they fallen so far

No it is NOT an easier region.

After this season they will be begging to get back into their previous region.

I just moved to the South-Doyle area about 2 years ago. Even though their team isn't as good as it should, the fans are pretty awesome. Love talking football with them.
