I am certified in Mathematics (grades 7 - 12). I have coached football for 5 years, and tennis for 3 years.

I wish I could, but I am under contract right now. We are still in the middle of our season, too. I just know that my family and I will be moving, and I wanted to see what is out there.

If you can get your foot in the door at Riverdale, you will be in an excellent school system. And a football powerhouse. Everybody in Tennessee that watches any high school football knows Riverdale.

I read where Mt Juliet christian academy needs help with football next year. Their head coach resigned and is finishing out the year.

With a Math certification and 7 HS in Rutherford County, and 7 middle schools....with another one opening in Fall of 06.......I would say you will definitely have no trouble finding a job coaching football. Good luck!!! We would love to see you come to Oakland!

Just be ready for a BIG pay cut. Unfortunately Tn does NOT pay near as well as Ga does.

I am expecting that. I hope it is not too terribly much. Is there a website that I can go to that gives the tennesee base salary for teachers? What is an average coaching supplement?

I can tell you right now as a coach and teacher who has moved from TN to GA, it is a big difference in pay. I never realized it until I moved here. You better be prepared.
