bigin52--your info is wrong. Where did you get it??? :thumb:

Total losses for region 3 is 37. Total losses for region 4 is 44.

The bottom 3 schools in region 3 were a combined 7-23.

Also, Central defeated a 8-2 5a Farragut, 7-3 Halls, 6-4 Powell and a highly rated 3a Bell Co, KY team. I'm not sure of their record.

On the computer polls, region 3-4a is the toughest in the state in the public schools.

All this is moot. The game Friday at Central will decide who is the better team. Good luck to the Eagles.

Medman I got my info. from Central-Rhea co. Web sites My Region stats: were as i said but total losses Region 3 38 Region 4 43 and Region 3 botom three was 7-22 but i was giving back stats to Clevland who wanted to state facts! But like you said all that is moot come Friday Good luck to Central too.

Thank you medman.

And going back to what Rhea Co. said- our #5 team could beat Red Bank. They didn't even hang with one of our 3-A teams.

Bell Co is a smaller school, but 3a in KY is the 2nd largest class in the public schools and they are an annual title contender. Central also defeated 2 5a schools, Farragut and Bearden, who are in the playoffs. Central defeated a total of 5 teams that are in the playoffs somewhere B) .

If Rhea Co can limit mistakes and keep the game close, late they may have a chance of upseting central. Central is really tough at home and Coach H won't let his catz look past Rhea. But Central playes alot of kids both ways and they get tired if the other team can be physical. If the the Catz are up 14 by the middle of the third, they will win and Rhea will be turning in the gear on monday. Good luck to both team but 3-4A is tough and after tonight I would not be suprized if 3-4A went 4-0 first round.

Bro you can only HOPE the cats lose, man it (aint) gonna happen, hey we will see you in 2 weeks if the Rebs get past Powell in the 2nd round.

Medman, I know Im not being politically correct looking ahead, just being a realist.

This is Joels last ride with Zach and Central Wont look past ANYBODY.

First off I'm not your bro and second no ones hopeing your Catz lose. I think it could be a close ball game. Rhea has a very good coach who has a few more Region 3-4A titles and SC's than does Coach Helton. He knows how to win just as Central does. No disrespect meant. I really think keeping the game close will help the vistors. Anything else and Central sits the starters in the 3qtr.

I am looking for 3-4A to sweep the first round and that includes a Central win.

Last point no one around Maryville fears the Catz, why should we?

You guys played a good game and came up short, again. I know it hurts and if you can rebound you have a chance to beat Maryville at home, but don't think Maryville is looking to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th round like you seem to be. Good luck tonight in demostrating what 3-4A football is like to those southern Tn types who haven't a clue yet. See ya

1st off, congrats to the Eagles on a great game. They played very well. Their passing game is tough to handle and the QB is excellent. They played very smart and had Central on the ropes after the Cats got up 28-7 early in the 4th. They are a young team and I would expect to see them be a very highly regarded team next year. To the kicker who missed the extra point that would have tied it, keep your head up. I'm sure your teammates support you.

As for Central, they better play much smarter than what they did. Turning the ball over 3 times in the other teams end kills you. Central could have put this one away early if they score on 1 or 2 of those. Gaston had an incredible game. Over 230 yards rushing. I was glad to see Coach Helton commit to the running game. We need to do that more. Our defense had their hands full tonite. At times (the 3rd Quarter) they looked good. Rhea Co ran great routes and the QB was accurate. I don't think we will see a team that passes the ball that well again. Our D ends need to be more disciplined when rushing. Many times Blair ran right by the QB and the tackle for RC just guided him that way. On the quick pitches, our ends took themselves right out of the play and RC had some nice runs on those.

I'm not sure where the guys in stripes came from, but they were horrible. It was called very one sided after Central got up. It is tough to beat a good team and the zebras. The play where Gaston was called for a fumble with just over a minute to go was awful. His progress was obviously stopped. The catch that Cruze made in the endzone that was called incomplete was another example.

As the saying goes, survive and advance. I don't think we had any injuries to hamper us for next week. Congrats to the Cats and thanks for the heart palpatations  . Looks like a road trip to Chattown next Friday for a rematch of last year's game.

I agree with your post except one thing. Most of those times that O. Blair missed the QB was because of OL hanging all over him. Those refs were terrible. I don't think they know what a hold is. See you in Chat-town

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
