Yea. FRA won. but im pretty sure they got killed by jaynes. U guys were nothin...i've been to wheelchair races that were more competitive than u all. ill nvr clap for FRA cause theyll nvr beat me...thats mcnastiness for ya. feel good about yourself...but i won the race. it will always be that way. Look what happened to FRA's #1...he messed with the best...and died like the rest. I mean did he really think he could beat me? i think not. also he was taller than me. oh well. it didnt win it for him did it. and i can dunk a basketball, can he...NO!!! i was smaller but bigger. u kno u kno. so when yall think back to winning the team championship remember me...7 of u...1 of me...u lost...real bad...and i didn't even try...look at the finish. i was smiling. ill see beat you in track.lol.

Get some class and grow up...that is the first thing you need to do to be a champion.....in anything....any true champion would rather win a team championship than an individual title....that is what being a real champ is about.....congrats to the FRA TEAM...and I hope they disregard this tripe from the Etownrunnercc.....it is not worth anymore time or response

Another lie...I watched the race...you won...you did not lead the whole race......grow up, get some humilty...from reading your insipid comments I learned that what I saw was a pitiful loser of a human being cross the line first.....so sad!

ok. enough of this garbage.

FACT: Fra won. they had the better race than all of us. And there is no reason why we have to make excuses. They had to run in the same race we did. They did better than all of us. They deserve credit and respect. Yes its true I don't like Fra, but I'll give credit where credit is due, and FRA deserves credit for the race they're 7 guys ran today.

 

So to the FRA guys, way to run today. You guys are the state champs!

 

 

 

now for a rant from me: I stunk. and that's all there was. 1 minute and 15 seconds slower than my goal time. a minute slower than my PR. I don't like steeplechase.

but I do have good news, I still ran a minute and 5 seconds faster than at the TN classic. and I improved my place by 80. and I did enjoy (kinda) my first State championship. It was a good experience. one from which I'll learn a lot. I'll see you guys at track. and next year.... where if I have my way, I'll be up at the front.

yes, jaynes deserves congrats on the win.

BUT, FRA deserves more credit because THEY (team) won the race together AS A TEAM.

 

Cross Country, though run individualy, is a TEAM sport. where the scores of individual runners come together to make a TEAM. the TEAM trains together as a TEAM. fra had the best TEAM so that's really the only thing that matters here.

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
