:P just wanting to see what can expect in Cumberland county? I haven't heard much about them this year..

 

Cumberland is the fav to win the district. But, I really think its a tossup.All the top 4 or 5 teams are pretty even. I got a chance to see CC once this year already and I dont know if it was just an off night or what but they didnt look as dominant as predicted. Had Bradley shot 40% at the free throw line they would have beat CC,so take that for whatever its worth. That game was terrible on both sides of the floor. Of course two good teams playing each other will make each other look bad because of the defense.

This should be a good game! These are two probable top 10 or 15 teams in the state! As the previous writer said, it is hard to win on the mountain. Hopefully, we can make that so!!

 

Lady Jets did not play that well at Bradley. Yes, Bradle had some to do with that. Anyway, Lady Jets 71 McMinn 60.

:thumb: WELL HERE IS MY THOUGHTS,,,, I THINK THAT MCMINN HAS A ONE OF THE BEST STARTING FIVE IN THE STATE,,,,BUTTTTTTTTT IF HE PLAYS THEM LIKE HE DID AGAINST CLEVELAND THERE WILL BE ANOTHER ONE IN THE L BRACKET FOR HIM. IF HE SUBS THEY WILL WIN BIG!!!!!!!!!! .

You guys can say what you wish, but the Lady Jets are the real deal!!! The Blue and Gold was thought to be in the tank when Jennifer Hood went down before the Karns game. However, the Lady Jets continued to impress beating the Beaverettes by a sizeable margin. Everybody wants to give the Lady Cherokees the edge due to thier inside game, but the Lady Jets will win this contest from the perimeter. Big night shooting the basketball tonight for the home team---Mark My Words!!!

Way to go Lady Jets!! Coming from behind 11 in the 4th quarter to win by 3 shows how we always play hard. To quote that great line from The Untouchables, never stop fighting!! The Lady Jets always seem to find a way to pull it out.

 

Give McMinn alot of credit also. They really are a quality team.

 

I think the big threes and free throws with the game on the line were really huge!! Looking forward to getting the whole team back together again.

I wasnt able to be at the game but what was the score? and Cumberland was behind by 11 in the 4th? what happened to McMinn did they just get tired? :o

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
