Non conference schedule is always tough because of the need of money.

I see Tn Tech is back on the schedule. I miss those days. Great rivalry back in the heyday

  • 2 weeks later...

after reading about the Blue-White game yesterday you have to be pleased with the way things are coming along but i talked to one of the Raiders announcers for the game after it and he said that Gross was in a boot towards the end of the game so thats something to worry about and im not sure why the paper didnt note anything about it maybe they are unaware of the injury

I agree...

I only see about 3 or 4 wins all year...

it appears im the only one who has faith in the raiders. they managed that many wins in down years, so with things looking up, i definately see them getting more wins than that.

me personally, i think we can go undefeated at home (not including the louisville game at the coliseum) on the brand new field turf. im REALLY excited about the field turf and it seems the players feel the same way.

    • Well team state championships are based on 14 weight classes. Much different than a kid getting on the podium at Fargo.  But I suspect you know that.   It seems like they lost a few of their starters unexpectedly, but I believe they have won a state championship before. They will probably win at least one more in the next 20 years.   Anyways, maybe if they try hard, they can be like you and wear their Carson-Newman football rings around at 55 years old. Manager of the year!
    • Annnnd Baylor still can't win a State Championship...... they are doing really well for the 3rd best team in TN. Maybe next year?
    • Sumner County has  Gallatin  Hendersonville  Goodlestville (split with Davidson) White House (split with Robertson) Millersville (split with Robertson) Portland (very small part in Robertson)  Westmoreland
    • How many county’s run into sumner lol. Heck it’s the same for goodletsville correct?
    • 5 guys still left in the tournament.  3 Baylor, 1 CCS, 1 Sebolt Academy  How did the Cleveland guys do?  Does McCallie support offseason wrestling?
