top three teams in no particular order

baylor

mccallie

mus..

it will be those three teams to beat in state

the flip of the coin matters a great deal with the semi's and finals being played on the same day

lets just see the match-ups

mccallie v. baylor

1. ramsay v. seal, 1-1 this year

2. ismail v. onken, onken leads 2-0

3. nelson v. kane, kane leads 2-1

4. pare v. laurenco, tied 1-1

5. henry v. gammon or epps, henry leads both

LOOKS LIKE THAT COMES DOWN TO DOUBLES

baylor v. mus

1. seal v. lang, seal leads 1-0

2. onken v. heflin, heflin leads 1-0

3. kane v. george, have not played

4. laurenco v. addington, have not played

5. gammon or epps v. wills, gammon defeated wills at the carter

LOOKS LIKE THAT COMES DOWN TO DOUBLES

mus v. mccallie

1. lang v. ramsay, have not played

2. heflin v. ismail, heflin leads 1-0

3. nelson v. george, nelson leads 1-0

4. pare v. addington, have not played

5. henry v. wills, have not played

LOOKS LIKE THAT COMES DOWN TO DOUBLES

Looks to me like two teams could play a four hour long semifinal match and the other could play an hour long semifinal match. it is very unfortunate that the flip of a coin could determine the state champion in DII tennis. three competitive teams in the state playing two tough matches in one day in may in the 'boro...Now let's get some opinions on that.......................

Yep, Doubles are very important and sometimes underrated in high school tennis and even college tennis. But again, Webb does have a shot, a far one but still one.
