Congrats to the Lady Bulldogs, you know what match-up I would like to see to open the season next year, UT vs Union. It would be a good match-up, and here is an idea. Have the game at Pat Summit's alma mater, it would probably be the 1st sellout in Elam Center history.

 

Not a bad idea.

 

Congrats to the Lady Bulldogs! But it can`t come as too much of a surprise that they have several of those homegrown West Tennessee women on the team.

It would be nice to see if Union could stay within 50.

 

UT actually played Martin at Martin in either 96 or 97, and they had a big ceremony for Summit. I believe Summit's quote when contacted by Martin about the game was "Are you sure about this?"

 

I would like to see Union go against a lower-tier D1 school to see how they would match up. I think they could give them a run for their money. It will also be fun when Union eventually moves over to NCAA D2 (once the NCAA opens it up for expansion again) to see how they fare there as well.
