how many people play soccer in this world?

I'd say about 350 Million...

How many are pros? The guys who are head and shoulders above the rest? 5,000

How many are considered great players? About 40

How many are considered to be unbelievable? About 10

And who is undoubtablely the best player in the world? 1

350 Million players to 1.

and some of you think that TN HIGH SCHOOL players :thumb: can stop him..lol, what a joke.

(these numbers are purely estimation, it could be more than 350 million)

yeah well i garuntee my highschool team last year could have beat him/the team he is on, how would he get the ball? he couldnt being surrounded by people, and because his team cant pass him the ball, and who would play defense on his team. Your telling me the best player in the world can defend someone, as that person hits the ball 40 yards in the air to another person that Ronaldinho would be there to defend him? Your crazy

it would be interesting, actually you know, I think that high school players would beat him. You know why? He would be laughing to hard to compete. He wouldnt be able to get a touch because he would be laughing so hard at the caliber of players he was playing against. Let me ask you this: Think of the best high school player. The absolute best. Now put him with the worst U-8 team in the state. Now play the best U-8 team in the state. Would the high school player's team win? Of course. The high school player would just get the ball and run down the field and score, everytime.

Ronaldinho playing high school kids is the same exact thing.

this post has nothing to do with anything.

A u-8 team does not know what to do in the first place. A u-8 team cannot pass around and isolate the one great player on the field like a great high school team can and to say these are the same things is crazy talk. A great high school team knows when to pass, when to clear and all the other things that come with getting more experience on a soccer team. Your comparison is a very weak argument.

Now what is all this "he doesn't need to dribble he can just run" talk, i am glad that soccer teams get points for running now, i did not know soccer has become a track event. So he is going to rn wthout the ball, well i am glad that he can do this, i really am.

IrishLegacy what did you mean, everytime he went to the ball? he would get passed around instantly, the other team would allow no chance of him getting the ball, unless by freak accident or by kick-off's. besides it is not man marking it is quadrupal marking (quadruple because i do not know the term for five),

great point frommy, he is running to with the expectation that he will be recieving a pass, wait a second no pass will come his way, sorry ronaldinho.

please ronald supporters tell me how ronald is going to get the ball in the first place to use these amazing skills he has. I need a solution otherwise he cannot win.

hey genius, when the high school team scores, which they probably would, Ronaldinho will get the ball back. Its called a kick-off. Every team gets to do it when the other team scores, its pretty cool. Then he will dribble, dribble, dribble, and shoot and score. IN order to beat him, the best high school team would have to score EVERY possession, because Ronaldinho would. There will be times the high school team will not score and Ronaldinho will get ahead and he will win.

are you kidding?

you are saying that the only team ronald will get the ball is off kick-off's (which i already stated as a time he would get the ball) now that means he has to score every single team on the kick-offs, plus the one he gets at the start or half. That is unheard of, he would be fouled, or just surrounded, he would not score every single one, and if he is fouled at near half-field i am sorry but he would not score that. We would not have to score every possession, why would the other team have to socre every possession? if that were the case they would score a whole lot of points maybe 150 or more, if they scored every possession. Ronaldo's only possession would be on kick-offs according to you and he definitely would not score all of those.

besides dribbling is very very tiring, i have been caught in alot of trouble, a heap of three opponents and gotten out by dribbling and i was tired after that and had to rest for a second, i know that i am in no way the shape ronald is but he would have to do it time and time again, it is IMPOSSIBLE.

please someone else tell me how he can gain possession because if the only time he gets possession is off kick-offs he will lose badly.

one more thing according to you the only possible amount ronald could ever be up by is one measly point.

aight dude, we just need to agree to disagree. Ronaldinho is tripled teamed in the pros yet he stills stands out but you think that ten high school guys are gonna stop him, and not only stop him, actually have the presence of mind to formulate an attack and not just clear it out, which would be what would happen if they ever got the ball.

He would not score on every possession. He would eventually get winded because he was being chased all over the field. So he scores 15 goals with 8 players on him. Pretty impressive. But 30 minutes into the first half when he's dog tired and hurting because he's been fouled hard 25 or so times, coupled with the fact that 8 of the best players in the state are chasing him everywhere he goes; no way the worst team in the state wins the tournament just because of him. Is he insanely good? Yes. But no 1 player can make the worst team in the state a state champion. Now what about this guys: What if there were two professionals on the worst team in the state; say Ronaldinho and another player close to his caliber; does that team win the tournament? As crazy as this sounds, I'd still bet against it. It obviously would be far more likely, but I say it might take 3 pros. I don't really know. What do ya'll think?

i think if it was Ronald and and another player to his caliber than the team with the pros would win, but if it was Ronald and just a semi-good pro than the team with the pros would lose, but Ronaldinho and a almost Ronaldinho is just too much.

I think if it was the absolute best players in the state in any division versus a team with two ronaldinho's the team with the best players in state would win.

I like this I am having fun.

actually you know I think it would take Barcelona's whole team to beat tennessee's best high school team. You know what, I dont think they could. I think it would take Brazil to finally overcome the mighty soccer talent of tennessee high school soccer.

I can't believe this argument is THAT popular, but i guess imma give my opinion about it.

Dino plays against WORLD CLASS golies, defenders, and mid fielders, now for someone to come and bring up a high school team is kinda embarresing. He lets those WORLD CLASS players look like fools, and his shot is more than a BULLET. And u want to tell me a high school goalie will block his shots. And even if he does the ball and the goalie fly into the goal. And his speed...no need to go there. THIS DUDE IS PERFECT. even if they are the worst high school team, put 10 people in the goal and Dino takes care of the rest.
