Gerry Bertier
This shouldn't even be up for discussion. Steve Nash is hands down the MVP of the NBA. Here is why He is averaging a career high in points (19 pts.) Leds the NBA in assists (10.5) Ranks first in free throw % Led Phoenix to a Pacific Division title and the # 2 seed in the playoffs, while losing Amare Stoudamire to injury, and with Quentin Richardson and Joe Johnson no longer with the team. Here is the final nail in the coffin- 7 players on the Suns roster are averaging career high in points this season, not including Nash himself. How is this guy not the MVP? PrepFanatic
Kobe Bryant?!? I know.... Points does not = a MVP trophy. He does not make his teammates better.
Gerry Bertier
I know.... Points does not = a MVP trophy. He does not make his teammates better. Very Wiseman, put Steve Nash on the Lakers team and take Kobe off, the Lakers have a better record. Put Kobe on the Suns and they don't make the playoffs. Nash for MVP. Phoenix
There is no real clear cut favorite but if I had to give it to any one it would be Kobe.
