nation_supp89
The other school you couldnt remember would be Bearden, after Saturday you should know them pretty well. Go Dawgs It was bearden and they came out and surprised us and beat us. Siegel, however, was missing a player against Bearden and it could have made a big difference...if Bearden beats Science Hill at region then we'll probably see you at state...good luck

frankiec996
Why is everyone on here talking about bearden? If they are so special, why did they play in the C division at the Rotary?

dawgs2
Why is everyone on here talking about bearden? If they are so special, why did they play in the C division at the Rotary? We didnt play the Rotary. Get your facts straight. We never said we were so special, just want to be mentioned with the great teams that played in the B division of Rotary(Siegel, USJ, Science Hill, TN High). From reading the board up to this weekend u would think they were the only teams to play tennis. Bearden does have a little history on its side, 4 straight state championships from 98-01. Frankie if u dont know what your talking about stay out of the conversation. If you know some facts join the discussion
frankiec996
Frankie if u dont know what your talking about stay out of the conversation. If you know some facts join the discussion Hey buddy, if you didnt notice, this would be my thread. So how about you stay out of the conversation. The only reason that the B teams from the Rotary are being mentioned is beacuse its the 2nd biggest highschool tennis event for most teams all tennis season. Most of the players on this board played in the tournament so its naturally the local discussion. If you would like to get recognition for your team, perhaps you should do it in a thread thats not about USJ tennis.
Guest Cutters Crazies
those state championships are thanks to Brandan Allen and other great players...of the past, nothing to do with the school.
frankiec996
exactly. USJ has had several state championships mostly due to matthew evans, Lee Taylor Walker, and Dan Matthews. Those guys were gone like 4 years ago and in no way affect the outcomes or the status of or team.

Those guys were gone like 4 years ago and in no way affect the outcomes or the status of or team. Of course it has nothing to do with it. Im just pointing out that there is some history with Beardens tennis. USJ you are taking yourself way to seriously. Relax, we are just having a little fun here and when u dont know what u are talking about you should get called out on it. You were the one taking a shot at Bearden playing in the C division, which wasnt even factual. Im sure we would have held our own in the B division. So Frankie, u wouldnt join a thread that is saying something about your team that wasnt true???? Again if u dont know what u are talking about ,dont talk. Bearden would have definitely held its own in the B division... dawgs2 that's partially why i wasn't as worried playing you until we went out there and got beat...I was misinformed that Bearden DID actually play in the C div. at Rotary Edited April 25, 2006 by nation_supp89
