The socks were just a team bonding thing. I don't think that there was a better game all season except maybe our game with Franklin, but I was not there for that game, so I can't say anything about it. Cookeville will be back next year with 18+ seniors. Swanson played a great game. He got us bad early in the game, but didn't really score in the 2nd half that I can remember. Good job West Knox. You are my pick at winning it all in D2.

Lets not go that far....it will either be Franklin or Cordova; heck maybe Brentwood.

Sounds similar to last years Centennial misfortune. There have been alot of wierd things happen this season such as Centennial beating west knox who beat cookeville and franklin. brentwood beat franklin once. Centennial lost to both Franklin and Brentwood. You cant judge the playoff layout because the series of events. But cookville is a great team when they are on. The problem is they are hot and cold. Unfortunately cold in some of the games that mattered the most.

Enough with the trash talking. I think any team in this state can beat any other team on any given day. We honestly believe that we are the best in the state even without felker when we are at our best. I'm sure that every other team feels that way about themselves as well. Lets do the talking on the field. By the way, cookeville played a heck of a game, and I think you guys deserve the playoffs more than webb.

i agree with warriors lax here, anyone can beat anyone on any given day, by the way, pleaseballstophere, who are you or who do you play for?

There are 3 former Centenial players that coach at Cookeville. Is your brother Jamie (Frank), Matt, or Alex

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
