nike vapors are great cleats. ive had mine for nearly a year and they're still in decent condition. anyone know anything about the diadora totti's? ive heard they're good and im thinking about buying a pair.

I agree of vapors they are usually pretty decent cleats, except my friends' tore up after only a mere month...Anyway about the diadora totti's I tried some on, and looked at them they are quite confortable and extremely flexible. However the only problem i found with them is that they offer little to know ankle support, for example it seems like it would be even easier to screw up you ankle in those than most any other cleat, because of the great amount of flexibility. Other than that I am sure they are great cleats.

my favorite cleat of all time is still the puma king classic, nothing fancy, durable, molds to your foot almost right away. I know its not as light weight, or have dimples or ridges to help bend the ball, but that stuff can be overrated. The king classic is an old school type cleat that will never go away.

i just bought the new nike vapors (seeing as how i can finally play) and i played three games today and feel as if i have been wearing vapors my whole life, and they even made it so that you do not get blisters (so they say) and i did not get any. They feel almost as if you are barefoot. I LOVE THEM!!

    • Yea, they have Davey quaking in his boots. Someday they'll even have a winning season.
    • Guessing this may have been the closest I can think of...... Bill Harlow: (from wiki) After leaving OSU, Harlow went on to win three national titles in freestyle wrestling.  He won a silver medal at the 1970 World Wrestling Championships, falling to Soviet Gennady Strakhov in the finals at 90 kg.
    • The Simpson brothers had good freestyle careers.

    • Maybe some of the historians can get on here and help me out, but has anybody from Tennessee ever had as much success in an international style as Boykin? The only other Tennessee native I can remember competing for world team spots is the older Boykin in freestyle and he wasn't nearly as close as Nick has been to making world teams.
