Fall League or Travel Teams / Henderson & Jackson Area

My family is new to the Henderson area. We have a daughter that will be 11 years old in November. Since the Dixie Youth League here is below her competition & playing levels, we are looking for a team in the area for this Fall. The League here in Henderson would not let her "PLAY UP" in the next league (We have been told for their own hidden agenda.), therefore, we feel like she has regressed. We would like to keep her at an "Above" or "Excellent" level.

American Eagles (from Lexington) were interested & called, but the age cut off date was a problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions??? Please help us!

Are you wanting your daughter to play 12U softball?....If you are then you are in the right area because there are ALOT of highly competitive teams within a 60 miles radius from you. If she is as good as you say then she should have no trouble finding a 10u team that will have to be moving up in the fall to 12u. The best way to find a team is to go to the weekend softball tournaments in Jackson or Martin and you can probably find a team that will let your daughter at least try out in the fall. Good Luck!

Thanks for your advice. We will check into it further. If you know contacts, I'd appreciate it.

She'll be 11 in November.
