better than the end of the season

I just would like to know why Siegel coach changed formation after it was largely successful last year. He is now using a flat four in the back that Siegel's players are not accustomed to at all and it shows

Not sure about this one. Most of his starting defense plays a flat 4 in club ball.

Those were the words from the players mouths themselves, communication is also lacking in the back right now. They aren't too happy about this change in formation, to say the least.

What happened to if its not broke dont fix it

I will say this, Siegel needs a couple of good scrimmages today because frustration is building. Need to be more pro-active in going for the ball instead of just reacting to opposing players moves which they seemed to be doing the whole time vs. Ravenwood

Greeneville Varsity 3, Dobyns Bennett Varsity 0 (40 min. match)

 

Oh yeah, Coach McCloskey kept his varsity team in for the second 40 min match which was supposed to be JV vs. JV. The DB varsity apparently came away with a "w" against the G'ville JV, however.

Hopefully the DB varsity feels good about itself in beating a group of Freshman and Soph. JV girls since they certainly could do nothing against the Greeneville varsity squad.

 

McCloskey again shows his lack of class and sportsmanship.

If they need work, they need work. It preseason and you have to get ready for the season. Get off Bill's back. I remember a team up that way running the score up to 23. That shows a lack of sportsmanship, not getting your varsity some needed work.

That goal by Father Ryan in the siegel game was a joke. Right to the keeper, she holds it for a second or two and then lets it roll out of her fingers and trickle down her back into the goal. Siegel didn't look good vs. Shelbyville but then vs. Father Ryan looked very good. They changed to a 4-5-1 vs. Ryan.

haley sloan didn't play i don't why but they need her back quick

 

so thats why they played 4-5-1

 

shelbyville was minus 3 key starters

 

taylor's diving and leaping ability isn't very good if you hit it high enough it will go in

I've never considered our goaltending our strength or anywhere close, Sloan didn't play because of coaching decision but there was reasoning and the only two other forwards who could play up there are Sloan and a girl coming off knee surgery so that was def. the way to go. Played quite well in it I thought.

      I think the OC is a guy the he brought from Fulton with him. I am not sure though. I have heard a lot of conflicting information. It seems like a couple of coaches that he hired have since been let go.

      If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.

      The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.

      Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
