goldenboy
I talked to our kicker tonight and he told me the team has been looking pretty good in practice and if they keep it up they're going to put a whooping on FI. tdntn
final score 7-6 MTSU. environment was GREAT tonight...20,050 fans, new coach, uniforms, field turf, it was all great. first home opener we've won in a while. the game wasnt as close as the score, the refs reversed a taron henry touchdown catch (RIVERDALE GRADUATE) after a review. we ended up missing a field goal 2 plays later. MTSU pretty well controlled the game after the 1st quarter, and were a more conditioned team than FIU. our personnel is fine on defense, its just the set we run out of it or the play calling or something, they were able to rely on the short pass all night, stopping and making cutbacks while our DBs were running deep routes and what not, having to come back on the ball. they werent hardly getting anywhere with the deep ball though go blue raiders
