Bears by 9.

Dadgum muffin, you're nice considering what I've heard out of most UT fans here in Knoxville. I wish I could tell you what I expected. They could go out and win by 40, or they could lose by 40 and neither would shock me.

The key to this game, and IMO the UT season, does not hinge on Ainge so much as it hinges on the O-line. To be successful (9+ wins), the offense must establish a dominant running game.

I will say that in the two scrimmages I have watched, I honestly think that the defense is faster than last year. If the secondary is as good as advertised, and Chief can send the linebackers.....this defense can be really, really good.

JJ Arrington plays for the Arizona Cardinals :D

If that's the case, let's get Peyton, Henderson, Haynesworth, and Al Wilson back!

I am very worried about THIS team, playing a team like Cal at this time. It won't be as hot and humid as we all hoped, so one advantage we might have had won't come into play. Cal's offense will give us trouble, and their defensive line is VERY good. Linebackers are very fast. Hopefully we can exploit some weakenss in the secondary.

Special teams might have to win this game. That might be the only place where we have an edge.

I'll be there, but I am not expecting too much. I just want to see a mentally and physically tougher, more disciplined edition than last year.

im glad you are the most worried about a pac-10 team.. its your next game genius :thumb::ph34r:

Let me rephrase that, when I look at games and rank them from "most likely to lose" to "least likely to lose", I consider a substantial dropoff from "most likely to lose" with Cal to the #2 team, which does happen to be Florida. LSU falls in at $5 on that list, as you march towards your 4 loss season with Les "How did I make everyone think I'm a good coach?" Miles.

.. well at least your giving Florida some respect, hope all UT fans feel the same way, along with the players.
