Alright lets spice thing up

Tonight I saw one of the worst displays of sportsmanship from a band I've ever seen. Now when i was in school you didn't play when the other team had the ball and if you were playing to distract the other team the band would have a flag thrown on the and the team got the penalty. Let me sit the stage for you 4th quarter Cascade is winning pretty good 21 to 7 with about a minute to go. Forrest has the ball. The QB comes under center, and the cascade band with horns pointed at the players on the field just played 1 note loud and did it till the play was over, and on the next play did it again. Didi it a few more times till the game was over. The was a away game for Cascade also. Now I marched in band and almost became a director so I think I have a little right to say this. The director should be called into the office and his job on the line for the rest of the year. It's on thing for players to jaw a little....heck their playing the game. Fans the school really can't controll, but for the band to act like that.......its very sad. The director should be glad someone like me isnt the principal cause they'd be on the way out.

To some peoples surprise....some (not all granted) but some band members are great football fans. WE had a guy that had all the stats from the week before for both teams and we'd talk football during the game and......gasp.....even cheer. The band oges to the game to play at half time, and watch the game. Well most do. Execpt flute players their just there

hey! im a flute player, well DM this year, who actually cares about the football and can talk football with the perc boys in the stands its quite fun. as for the rude playing its definately a personal foul at the OHS stadium. our directors are soo strict about when we play and such. its rude to be a distraction to the players.
