the pigeon forge tigers team now should be 7-2 or 6-3. they should have a winning record. even though people say the reason they are losing is because of all the players that have quit, they still have better athletes on the field right now than they did last year, and last year's team atleast got to go to the playoffs. so, maybe it isn't exactly the player's faults. they could have had victories over many teams, but for some reason they can never score. i have not been able to see every game, but the games i have seen pigeon forge has better athletes out on the field. maybe we shouldn't blame the players.

I hope the Pigeon boys do Rutledge a favor and knock off Claiborne because I don't trust Gibbs will beat Seymour... :D

The game I saw Pigeon didn't have better athletes on the field.

I think you are exactly right! It is not the players. All the PF player haters that comment on this site need to look in another direction. The players are not the problem! Hint: "bad" kids in our society, by majority, have had a bad up-bringing, bad training!

it does not seem to be the players fault for all the losing at pf i mean there team has better atheletes than last year but i dont understand why they went away from a run oriented offense when they had some success in the past. i think everyone should get off the players backs and understand that it is not their faults

It sounds like you are blaming their parents for their "bad up-bringing"?

I think it is time to let this go. PF had a tough year, they showed some life against Gibbs and have one more shot against Claiborne this week. Transition years are sometimes tough, and I think when you make the changes we made it takes a little bit of time to get everyone on the same page, this is players and coaches included. PF will be fine, just give everything time and stop trying to find someone to blame.

Have you ever heard the expression "players win, coaches lose"? There have been three coaching changes in the past five years. How can anyone expect players to respond well when there is no continuity. Highschool kids especially need structure to succeed in anything and when your own community wont provide that, winning isnt an option. Whoever said winning isnt everything must have been a tiger

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
