ClarkRange and Red Boling Springs will both make Boro because of a weak region and because of a not quiet as experienced Jackson County. RBS will not make it far. Clark Range could make it to the finals if they can beat the runner-up from Region 6.

Class A Final: Summertown VS Collinwood/ClarkRange (winner)

Class AA Upperman

Class AAA Wilson Central

Clarkrange looked pretty dang good last night as they defeated Forest going away.

Greenfield, Red Boiling Springs, Forest, Summertown, all in the mix. (Jackson County could offer some surprises but will not make it to the boro...)

A Clarkrange

Obion Co, Upperman, Austin East, Stone Memorial (new school in Cumberland Co), Northside, Harpeth are teams that will definately be playing in late Feb and early March. It's definately wide open....

AA Upperman

Wilson Central is definately the favorite even with a loss last night to the University of Riverdale. Shelbyville, Cleveland, Riverdale, Mt Juliet, will all compete. Could be some sleepers out there though....

AAA Wilson Central

DII Knoxville Webb ..........enough said.

I agree with AA, don't have enough about AAA for an opinion. But in Single A, I predict that (Jackson County could offer some surprises and MAKE it to the Boro).

Can't wait for the season to start, GOOD LUCK AND HEALTH TO ALL!

In AA Lipscomb may not be the overall toughest team offensively, but they play some tough defense when they want to. It is also very tough for teams to match up against them because their average heighth as a Varsity squad is around 5' 8". Many teams must resort to playing a zone against them, and if they are lighting up the gym that night, you will be punished.

I know that Greenfield has a very good team this year; however, the chances of them actually making it to the finals is very slim. They have never experienced winning big and will not be able to handle the pressure. Not to mention with the redrawing of the region lines and Union City being a firm competitor, they have a very long way to go.

I'll admit the the Lady Jackets would have another long way to go; however, I think after last year they proved they can win big games!

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
