i thought before what ended up bringing an end to his coaching OC , that with the extremely hard work he put his players through and what he pulled out of the less talented Rebels of that team was amazing. He would definately be a great choice for anyone looking for a coach. But the extra baggage that will come along might be too much for a school to take on. I understood that he was a great educator as well.

There is a way to do things and a way not do things....Pretty much all that needs to be said about it......

"Baggage"....That was exactly the word I thought about when I first read this thread...

I played for Coach Jones when he was a coach for Sycamore. I must say he is one of the best coaches I have ever been around. He did more than just win and just coach, he taught his players how to grow up and become men. Yes there were some times when we second guessed some of the things he did, but in the end we all saw why he did it, and it made us better.

But to answer the question he is currently in Michigan where his family lives and where he was from. Im not to sure what he is doin though.

Like I said in a previous post, I just hope my friends in OC will leave Bill and Eddie alone and let them coach their teams. And, I hope the administration (from the DoS on down) will close that door that's been opened in recent years. ... When that door closes, so too will the revolving ones on the coaches' offices.

Amen....
