I’ve purchased the BroilMaster Super P series in 2003 after have my deck & screen in porch taking out by fallen trees from a June storm. I put a lot of research into it. My wife & I love grilling (some burgers are on the grill now) all the time. Rain, winter, spring, fall, and summer, the grill is the main cooking source because it’s so…….good.

I went with stainless steel grates and oven feature that closes the bottom. This feature turns it into an oven. The best feature of all, it’s self-cleaning. Crank the temperature up, come back in 10 minutes, brush the grate, and your done. I’ve baked turkey and ham in the grill. It’s right up their with the deep fried turkey that I’ve cooked before.

I had the deck design with a cut down so the grill would be right over the edge of the deck. It allows for more deck space.

I’d purchase mine after review the grills at local grill stores from off the web from a Broilmaster distributor in Cleveland, TN for about $1,100. Like anything else, you get what you pay for. This one is worth every penny.

Well, I know next to nothing about grillls. We just bought a Jenn-Air grill from Lowes. We got it today, haven't used it yet, but we will this weekend. Gotta figure it out first. Spent a LOT of money on it - I'm surprised the husband would do such a thing! Oh well. I will let you know later if it was worth the money.

What is your experience with natural gas grills? Go cheap or spend the bucks?

CoachT,

I grill out every chance I get, I finally broke down and bought a Holland grill,

(Holland Heritage) the basic Holland grill. I wish I had done so sooner. It's no drip,

or no flare up claim is true. You can grill chicken with skin or any other meat, and never have to worry about flame ups, and burning your meat.

All of my buddies have since bought a Holland, and swear by them, they cook a little slower than most gas grills, but the outcome of tender, juicy meat is worth the wait.

Hollands slogan is " If Your Looking, It Aint Cooking" Best steaks I've ever eaten, have come off a Holland grill.

I have got to where I know how long it takes to cook just about anything I put on the grill, at the half way point, you flip the meat, and wait till its done, no standing over the grill and putting out fires. When we camp out at Bristol for the race, we have at least two Hollands fired up around the clock, I cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the thing. So, I guess you can tell I highly endorse this grill, one of the best buys I've made. I keep it covered, and it still works as good as new, it's about 7 years old now.

To answer your question, its worth every pennie I paid for it (about $600).

Good Luck, and Good Grilling!

My cousin has a Holland Grill. It has just flamed up big time with the temp on low and burnt everything twice. But besides that, it's been great.

You may want to check and see if its really a Holland, the Holland grills open flame is below a drip pan the covers the entire area below the grill cooking area. The open flame can't reach the grill area because of this.

www.hollandgrill.com, their web-site explains the no-flare up feature.

    • Yeah, I don’t see that AC situation ending well. Let’s be real, AC is a super redneck school, always has been. Inner city boys and rednecks just don’t generally mix well, if you get my drift. Before it’s all said and done, there will be drama. As I’ve said before, people will sell their souls to win football games. It’s crazy.
    • Booger thinkin that it probably not unreal istical to be thinkin the TFP could be ones source..... Booger just sayin
    • Hard to believe that it’s two kids from The McCallie School, and one each from Dobyns Bennett and The Baylor School.  I really thought a couple of other kids would have made the podium this year.
    • I have said it many times before, Coach Phillips stated awhile back; "We coach players that want to be ROADRUNNERS!"  Even if they takes their lumps and bruises and its been bruises the last couple of years, they're still not going to recruit players.  If they stay, LETS GO!  If they leave, SEE YA LATER!  IT's HARD BEING A ROADRUNNER!     Fulton was tough back in the days when they won 3 titles, no argument there.   AC-  I think they beat Alcoa this year , Alcoa isn't all that and they will take their bumps and bruises this year. They won't cake walk 4A and I agree those parents will turn on the coach because they're playing outside kids
