All Tennessee Teams invited to Lineman Challenge this summer.

Last summer Central Gwinnett High School ( Lawrenceville Ga ) hosted a tournament for offensive and defensive lineman. It was a great success as 28 teams brought 10 of their best lineman to compete against other lineman from across the state. The tournament location has moved this year as Head Coach Bradley Warren has accepted the head coaching position at Gilmer High School Ellijay, Ga. I just want to extend to all Tennessee schools an invitation to the event, especially teams from Southeast Tennessee. Gilmer High School is about an hour south of Chattanooga in the North Georgia Mountians. Below is some information about the event. We hope to see you there.

This year’s Offensive & Defensive Lineman Tournament Challenge will be held at Gilmer County High School in Ellijay, Georgia on Saturday June 23rd beginning at 9:00 a.m. Last year the tournament was a huge success and with an improved format this year’s tournament looks to be even more fun and exciting. I will look forward to seeing you on the 23rd. The tournament hosted 28 teams last season. Team entry will be on a first come first serve basis. Call Coach Bradley Warren on his cell or Coach Greg Burrell @ Gilmer County High School to reserve your team a place today.

Deadline: Team registration and payment is due on or before June 1st 2007.

 

Cost: $250 per team. Each Team will receive T-shirts and Lunches included in the team entry fee. Please make checks payable to the BOBCAT TOUCHDOWN CLUB.

 

Team Numbers: A Team Consists of 10 Players. A school may enter more than one team. If the second team is not full, payment will be adjusted.

 

Tournament Events: 7 Man Tug-o-war, 7 man sled race, 15 yard tire flip, pro shuttle run, 40 yard dash, 185 pound bench press reps, 1 man sled competition, double team competition, base blocking competition, & the very popular BULLPULL !!!!!!!
