8 starters from back to back state tournament team returning 5 which have signed pre-season about to be 6, with overpowering pitching 1-4 slots with 3 great relievers and a new hard throwing closer, returning 37 hrs of 43 hrs from last years team. 11 seniors in all. With a senior being looked at closely by minor league scouts. Our goal is not to go to state but to win state. Who is the player getting looked at by the minors?

I'm with everyone else straightbill, who is gettin looked at by the minors? Oh yea and congrats on signing.

Cory Hale, he has been recieving letters from Milwaulke, Seattle, Cleveland, and Coach Walter sent on out to Atlanta yesterday. They all have been asking for more information of him along with schedules to come watch him play.

Pretty good so far. How is the pitching staff lookin this year at the Wood? Straightbill tell Cory I said congrats on the people askin bout him

Isn't Cory a middle infielder? If so, he can turn a double play like no other.

 

Waverly has not got a chance to get out to the field just yet, because of the rain we had down here Tuesday. Hopefully we can get out there tomorrow.

Yes, Cory is a second baseman, and it helps that he has Chase "birdman" Birdwell at Short Stop to help him turn those.
