anyone know the brackets for Sectionals at Coffman Middle

I know that Moore County South #1 beat the North #4 William James last night 46 - 13. Also Cheetam County North #1 beat New Prospect South #4.

Tonight South Lawrence South #3 Plays North #2 Harpeth at 6:00. The other game today has Chapel Hill South #2 vs North #3 (Can't remember team) not sure of time either.

I had a bracket but misplaced it. The Semi-finals are Thursday at 6:00 and 7:45 I think. Finals are Saturday not sure about time.

They are aggressive in your face.

District is good, they finished tied for 2nd with 3 losses to sycamore and 1 to harpeth.

Play a 2-3 and aggressive man. They have talented big girls (#30 and #32.)

1-2-1-1 press some. (code for this is Coach Carter does the bear claws with his hand and 2 thumbs up.)

Their starters are

?? #10-small, pressure and she will turn it over, small

?? #12-small, same as #10

Krantz #24-big, nothing good nothing bad

Biggs #30-big, rebounds well

Bates #32-big, shoots 3 well and rebounds very well **best player

All of their inbounds plays are back doors GO ZONE ON INBOUNDS.

Side line out of bounds are lobs to #32 or #30 in low post.

Shut down 32 and 30 are your doing well.

Keys:

Pressure #10 and #12 they will turn it over!

Gaurd #32 she is big and can shoot the 3. If she hits the first one or two she will hit them all.

Block out #30 and #32 they will foul and their bench is weak.

Offensive keys:

Run their guards in man.

If they go 2-3 attack the gaps and post will foul.

HANDLE THE BALL THEY ARE IN YOUR FACE

Defensive keys:

stop 32 and 30

REBOUND

Coach Carter he works the refs the whole game. Get your share in.

I've seen them play 5-6 times and have some tape... Let me know if you have any questions...

By the way who are you and where are you from?

take anything else to email...

Hey Lynchmob,

I'm guessing you are from Moore Co.?

Check out the post from Champion13 below...

it might help you with Cheatham tomorrow.

Got any helpful info on Harpeth?

Good luck to Moore Co!

We controlled them pretty well the first half...but that inbound play where they lob it to the tall girl? don't know her number...but she probably scored 10 points in the second half on that playat least.

What team are you from?

Ah, well I'd say you'd have a decent shot at harpeth. They are so up and down. It just depends on which harpeth team shows up.

How did you guys do containing #30 and #32?

You gave awesome info...

I think we could have beaten them on a good day.

But we gave them a good run...it was not as easy

as they thought it was going to be.

Yeah all their inbounds plays are lobs to #32. Dang wish you would have asked for info before the game =p.

I just live in the area and like watching basketball...

I'm not a big cheatham fan though, they are a little cocky and can't seem to back it up against solid teams (not a knock on forrest, i've never seen them play) but the district is down this year besides Sycamore and harpeth. They lost 3 to sycamore by 10 or more and 1 to harpeth.

If I had to pick a team, I'd probably be a little more biased towards Sycamore. They have a great group of girls, very respectful. Coach Connie Weeks has done a great job with these girls. Everyone counted them out this year after going 24-0 and large school sectional champs last year, but so far this year they are 20-1 and play saturday for the section championship vs Mt. Juliet.

Did Moore County win last night against Harpeth?

    • good points. I guess the question is do the coaches need to be out of the classroom and get paid for just coaching. maybe move the coaching jobs to just coaching and no teaching. that would open up the coaching ranks to some good coaches that are not qualified to teach. Then you could do contracts and pay them whatever you want to pay them. move the positions to contracts.  Just like college. Thoughts?
