"District games, district championship, regional championship, those aren't big games. Farragut lost all of them and should have lost the sub state but for a critical error by Halls. The point is they were very, very lucky. There were several teams in Knoxville that were better. They couldn't beat Bearden, so how were they better. Just luckier."

Those aren't big games to a team that constantly wins at the state level. Its not about the district to Farragut. To teams that never make it to state it is a big deal to win district. And about them losing to Bearden 4 times I believe that the Bearden baseball banquet was a little bittersweet when farragut was out winning state while they ate chicked parmesian.

As always HB 20/21 is correct. This is not about players ,but about parents. The players could care less. Fact is that HB20/21 is always rifgt , and certain parents can not accept the obvious, They thinfk that by not accepting the obvious it helps their little one's self esteem. They way it is supposed to work is accept the truth and move on. Do not try to hide from the truth . Only HB 20/21 tells the 4AAA truth. hb20/21 does not keep the book s and does not complain, this is a completly unbiased 4AAA historian. HB20/21 is only a seeker and purveyor of the truth. Even though sometimes children can be completly destroyed by ther r=truth it should never be shielded . Hats off to you HB20/21 our resident yoda, our only connection to what is really out there.

HB 20/21 is as always on the mask . HB20/21 does not believe in such silly things as state championship ring. . That was a mere bit of fortuitious efffort. Bearden clearly had the better book and this must be accepted, or we do not use truth as the ultimate measuring rod of character and worthiness !!!!

Farragut played in six elimination games and won them all. At South-Doyle in the district loser's bracket final, at Halls in the Region, at Dobyns-Bennett in the sectional, Ravenwood in the state, two games versus Collierville in the state, and Bartlett in the state championship game.

Bearden played in one elimination game at home against Karns and lost. That's all that needs to be said.

I wpold respectfully disagree. HB20/21 with his snappy insights has eliminated the pompsity that used to pervade high school baseball in 4AAA. Please accept the truth as propounded by our resident 4AAA yoda and move on. Bearden if it played every team in 4AAA last year would win 9out 10 games.

You can have your district title, your region title, or even your sub-state title, but I'll take the state championship title over those any day. At the end of the day, they were the last team standing. Where were the "best" teams in Knoxville while Farragut was winning the state championship? At home trying to figure out why they couldn't win the big games. I would have liked to have seen any other team from Knoxville try and hold their own at the state tournament, but they couldn't even get there. Farragut not only got there, they won it all. That's 3 state championships in the past 4 years... you tell me who the best team in the state is, much less in Knoxville.
