LA Wildcats
QUOTE(PHargis @ Feb 14 2007 - 10:14 PM) 826372404[/snapback] Very easy, Cookeville lost to Livingston Academy who probably will win 7AA and also have Clarkrangein it who has been one of the top teams in the state in AA all year all year. Clarkrange is in 7A. But I agree with you that 7AA is better than 7AAA. 7AA has Livingston Academy and Upperman two teams at the top of AA basketball this season. But, three or so years ago 8AAA Shelbyville was preseason #1 in the world with tv crews following them around like puppies. Lowly 7AA Jackson Co (7AA at the time) upset the power house in a November game in Gainsboro. The teams in the Upper Cumberland including 7A,AA,and AAA play each other in several rivalries. They are all better for it. There have been some really great match ups over the decades.
ForLoveOfTheGame
This year, probably 7AAA.

One thing is for sure, 7 no matter the division, is very tough with very good players and good coaching and extremely good rivalries. They know the game. I just think this year after Upperman and LA there is a pretty big fall-off in 7AA.
THE SQUAD
It's so hard to compare in girls basketball. You can't say but I'm not so sure LA would've beaten Cookeville Monday if two of the Lady Cavs starters weren't out with injury, and they lost a third during the game! That's not to say LA & Upperman aren't great though cause they are! Here's a good example of the difference between the men & the women though... The CAV men (who are 2nd to the bottom in 7-AAA) beat the LA men (who are regular season 7-AA champs) Monday night in the nightcap. THE SQUAD
