My money is on Austin-East. It wouldn't surprise me if some distance powerhouses didn't creep up on the sprint powerhouses. See also: Chattanooga Christian, Lipscomb, and CAK. But I'm a distance coach, so take it for whatever it's worth.

I think TennesseeRunner.Com will be posting distance previews (like they have for sprints) in the upcoming week.

 

I think CCS' Jessica Duble should win the 3200m.

As for the 1600m, is that Katie Hayes girl coming back from USJ (defending champ)? If not I like Duble's chances in that as well.

 

Look for the girls at USJC to also represent well.

Pearl Cohn only lost their second best shot thrower from last year. However, they have a new head coach. Not sure of the background of the new coach and knowledge of the sport. The boys and girls teams were both disqualified in the Regional cross country meet for uniform violations with this new coach. It will be interesting to see how Pearl does this spring. The talent is there! Will the new coach get them to their potential?

lol yep i've finally made my way on here after trying to for the past forever! i started trying to get on here when you guys started talking about cross country. and conig, your the person i've been looking for. i was wondering where you had been. not getting on here and responding to any posts rightaway and not getting on tennesseerunner lol jk man. yeah sephel's tough. but markie voyle's is running in A/AA this year for Macon County so look out!!

      Im sure Nick Saban didnt have the final say at Alabama! That was not one of your brightest statements. How can you be that uneducated about football and blog about football? Its fair to name people who get arrested, its part of the consequences of their dumb mistakes as adults. You talk mess about the satterfields for way less. Are you that guys lawyer? I have never seen somebody defend someone so hard for something that could have been catastrophic.
