Who is the favorite in the final 4 girls east large school, Colonial Heights, Norris, Vance or North?

Anyone seen them all play?

In the final CHMS took Vance 34-30. The chargers advanced to the finals by blistering North. Vance advanced by beating Norris. CHMS has beaten Vance twice in regular season and once in tournament play before this final. Cherokee was rumored to be a strong team...would have liked to have gotten to see them play. Overall these schools were no match for the Tri-Cities teams. I did not get to see the John Sevier game. CHMS displayed a terribly off night hitting very badly from the field. Vance suffered from fatigue trying to hang with a run and gun team. They were successful at slowing the game down and working inside. Rachael Honeycutt is very good and understands how to play the back door. They ate us up with that over and over. Vance played a very tough game and hung in very well. The officiating was a bit sad but that happens. Wishing the best to the girls in the tournament at the next level and to CHMS for next year. They will have two returning starters and a very able bench to step up for '07-'08. Go Chargers!
