QUOTE(dandy82 @ Mar 6 2007 - 03:02 PM) 826402438A win tonite, imo, is necessary for us. The Dead Things schedule for the remainder of the year is much easier than ours, so the 4 point lead would be huge. The presidents trophy is not the Cup, but it would be nice to win. Got my playoff tics all in order. it is our year...I can feel it. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Considering we have to play the Dead Things 3 more times after tonite, every point ahead for us is crucial...its time for the boys to become men and the stars to become super. I've got my priority tickets just waiting for us to see who's butt we're going to whip first at home! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

QUOTE(Lions4ever @ Mar 7 2007 - 08:21 AM) 826403251Lower bowl twice attack zone...sec 112 about mid-ways up

What about you?

Turkey.... My season tics are in 325, row B, 15,16. That is located right on the blue line, double strike zone. You are literally below to the left of me. When I take customers, I sit in the lower bowl and have sit in 112 before. I like row K, where there is no one sitting behind me.

Dang it, we needed to win that shootout last nite.... 1 point lead instead of a 4.... The Dead Things schedule is more favorable than ours down the stretch. 4 point lead would be huge. Gotta get everyone healthy... Foppa is bothering me a little.... they say upper body, no big deal... But.... I keep thinkin' foot since he had a big meeting with equipment manufacturers last friday. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

If Marty had just gone to the back-hand...dang it! Agreed about Foppa...although if we could get Leggy, Erat, and PK together Fops wouldn't be a big deal. But with Nichol out with a broken thumb, Sullivan still iffy and now Zanon out with an "upper-body" injury, our 2,3,and 4 lines and not to mention the penalty kill are going to suffer big time, even with Fiddler and Tootoo really picking their games up.

What do you think about the way Vishnevski is playing....or should I say not playing. He's made several really hard board checks (and a couple stupid penalties) in every game I've seen him in but he's not getting any kind of consistent playing time? What's up with that?

I'm not sure why we took the guy... I guess to be more physical but he has not impressed me in the least... it's not as if we are hitting people, with him or without him... I'd just soon bring Klein back up...I like his game. Foppa needs to be healthy at playoff time... he is a winner and proven. A few games practice for him and he should be fine, hopefully.

Actually, the checking line has done some good things in the offensive zone at times... They just can't score.

QUOTE(rapbwood @ Mar 8 2007 - 10:41 PM) 826405739The boys pulled up from the Admirals played very well tonight despite the currint injury situations. Tootoo, boy...does he pack a punch. The two Flames picking on at the end of the game, yet he gets the best of them.

The flames coach is famous for gooning up games at the end when his team is getting beat. They did it to us a few years ago when Greg Johnson got cut up by a goon at the end of a loss for them. Preds are showing just how much talent is in our organization. We played really well tonite. Calgery came in on a 5 game winning streak, but they didn't leave with a 6.... They left with a gooseegg....

Tootoo stood up to the guy who instigated the fight... And I was glad to see Arnott throw some leather at the end. Arnott, to me, will be the key to a long playoff run. He is the strong center in the corners who cannot be pushed around. He can't be knocked off the puck. We also seem to play better defense when we play 6 d men. I want Zids healthy, but we play better with 6, imo.

Hey Lions, I was in sec 117 tonite.....late trade of tics for me.

Boston Bruins 6-3 victory over Detroit was BIG at this time of the season! Pred's have to clean up at least one of the next two games against the Red Wings. In my opinion, the Red Wings must get two points in the next two games with the Predators to stay within reach of the Predators for the Central Division crown.

    • When Danny was a senior he was the quarterback on the 82 team and also the placeholder on extra points. At the end of the game Heritage scored a touchdown with very little time left and went ahead 9-0. On the following extra point Danny rose up and threw a perfect pass to one of his receivers which made it 11-0 and Heritage's first win against Maryville since the series started in 77. Maryville fans were highly ticked off because they felt like it was rubbing salt in the wound. The following year when both teams met again at Maryville  the Rebels ran away with the game and after the first couple of touchdowns they went for two points after each score for a pay back and the score was 45-0 at halftime. The following Monday Bob Gilbert the sports eiditor for the local paper bashed Maryville in an article called the Humilation of Teenagers and tore into Maryville even though he was a graduate of the school. Those were the good ole days when Heritage had decent teams and the rivalry between them and Maryville was a fun event to see.
    • I get all that.  And I agree too.  However, if the coach is only there to coach that would give them more time to do those things. The school system and booster clubs combine and pay them.
    • 3 sides to every story….Someone getting kicked off for saying the F word then it seems maybe your star player? Probably was the last straw.
    • who cares good luck to the kid. Hopefully he finds peace at MV.
