imacker10
QUOTE(GREENEDEVILMOM @ Feb 19 2007 - 04:34 PM) 826379501[/snapback]Whats the outlook for the IMAC in 2007? 1. Morristown East 2. Morristown West 3. Greeneville 4. Cherokee 5. Jeff County 6. Cocke County It will be tough for Morristown East to win the conference this year with a new coach again but they feel like they have something to prove and will be tough come tournament time. Morristown West will also be very good as they have key starters Logan Wild, Erik Hazelwood, and Austin Bridgewater who are all pretty good ball players. West will give East a run for it's money. After West, it pretty much falls off. All of the teams have gotten better (with the exception of Jeff County which lost a bunch of great senior leaders). Still though, the main competition will be between rivals East and West. Look for Greeneville to surprise a couple of people this year. It looks like they will be battling an improving Cherokee team for third place. As for Cocke County....... best of luck.
greenefan
Word has it that there are disciplinary (one individual) problems within the GHS baseball team. This is the same individual that was dismissed from the football team with two games remaining this past year. It will be interesting to see if this individual is allowed to play or even stay at GHS. Sports are not a necessity; only the students that conduct themselves in a postive manner should be allowed to participate. Cancers spread if they are not terminated. It will be very interesting to see how this is handled by the GHS administration.

I do believe Morristown west will pull it out, but i do believe Cocke county may surprise some people. Cherokee won't be bad either.
PTSportsWriter
I'm not sure what the IMAC will hold for in baseball this season. Cocke County does have a new coach, Steve McKinney, from Elizabethton. He should do well. He has a solid group of experienced guys who have played a lot since their freshman year, they will be thin on pitching though.

Why would he not play? Greeneville will be ok. if they lose Greenway it will be not as good, but they still have Cutshaw but hes not able to pitch every game. Also, have heard that Wild has had a lil arm trouble, will that limit his pitching for the year?
