On some boards you can embed videos posted on youtube. I tried posting a video but it doesn't work as you can see below. Maybe shockwave-flash isn't supported???? How about it, how about video posting privileges for plus members or a video board???

to get a video just highlight and copy the url at the top of the video, on mine it has a plus sign and a pointer, it should be next to a little pic. but once you click on that paste the url in the box that it gives you and hit ok then you have to put a title, just put what you want it to be then click ok again and your done.

What you are describing will only post the link to the page where the video is located. What I am talking about will actually embed the video screen, ready to play, in the post similar to posting a picture. A link works OK but being able to have the screen up would be a plus. Another board I use allows that and it is a pretty cool feature.

Thanks for taking a look. Embeded videos shouldn't take much more space than posting a picture that is hosted on another site. The video would still be hosted on another site like YouTube and just shows up here.

Posting pictures that are hosted on another site is inappropriate but a lot of members do it and I don't have a way to monitor it. The animated pics some users have is why some fans, espcially those still on dialup, find the boards to be slow. If there was a way to eliminate them I would. Think about loading a thread with 100 posts on it and 25% of those posts have a gif or jpg that is a meg in size.

      Hard to believe that it’s two kids from The McCallie School, and one each from Dobyns Bennett and The Baylor School.  I really thought a couple of other kids would have made the podium this year.

      I have said it many times before, Coach Phillips stated awhile back; "We coach players that want to be ROADRUNNERS!"  Even if they takes their lumps and bruises and its been bruises the last couple of years, they're still not going to recruit players.  If they stay, LETS GO!  If they leave, SEE YA LATER!  IT's HARD BEING A ROADRUNNER!     Fulton was tough back in the days when they won 3 titles, no argument there.   AC-  I think they beat Alcoa this year , Alcoa isn't all that and they will take their bumps and bruises this year. They won't cake walk 4A and I agree those parents will turn on the coach because they're playing outside kids

      What I meant to say is, "They don't have to use MONEY or other things to get players to their program!"  Aren't very good?  1 State Title in School history speaks a lot , go figure!
