Could be out for a while depending on what they do. Surgery one, is just removing the menicus, he could be back by the end of May if he does that. Surgery two, is repairing it, if they do that he could miss all or part of the season. They are still debating on what to do.

On the bright side, there are worse options than having Crompton as a back-up.

 

My biggest concern was if it took him so long to get over his should injury psychlogically, how long would this take?

This article say he is out a maximum of 10-12 weeks! Fulmers says he will be ready by summer!

He says he will be back by summer if they do a complete repair of it..if I am correct Robert Meacham had the same injury and missed the enitre season. He needs to go ahead and have the surgery, fix it, and get better no matter how long it takes.

Ainge is very fragile,cannot play through pain and minor injuries.

a torn meniscus is a horrible injury and will take around probably at least 6 months to recover from it ..................not good for ainge
