QUOTE(The Zon @ Apr 1 2007 - 05:50 PM) 826427777finally catholic is ahead of cak. i cant wait for that game. bigG have you talked to eric and mark about the double header bc i would love to see the farragut/bearden also

I talked to Coach Culbreth (Farragut) and he was up for it, but we both agreed that it was really up to Turner and Leader. I am not sure if he has mentioned it to them yet, though.

I gladly "give" the "monkey" to USJ and the number 2 spot to Catholic. Hoya knows how I feel about this. Round 1 of the Battle of the Bluff in 12 days.

QUOTE(skrexpert @ Apr 1 2007 - 06:51 PM) 826427778a win against hillsboro doesnt amount to anything... which is a good example of y MBA shouldnt be at that rank

im glad someone is on the same page as me for once. . . im calling mba does not do well against a real good team, like BGA and even FRHS will beat them. . .

QUOTE(BigG @ Apr 1 2007 - 05:39 PM) 826427712I'm glad that USJ has gotten some recognition. I still would like to see how they would fair against some of the tougher teams in TN.

USJ played one of the better teams in TN in a scrimmage at the beginning of the season. I know Houston is a AAA team, but I would say they are one of the better teams and USJ lost 5-1, so it might be an indication of how good they actually are

you 2 seem to be the only ones who think MBA is a weak team. i mean they had an impressive season last year and basically return most of their starters. they ended up taking CBHS to pk's at state. plus they have darsinos up top, who wouldnt want him on their team. its fine to question whether they're number one or not but to say they're not a top ten team in state is just ignorant.

    • Yeah, you might be right. We will see what happens. Should be interesting.
    • None taken ever. I just gotta believe that AC started the fire on this. Small towns talk clinton is a small town. They may have not been the official one to put ink to paper but I am sure they are the ones moving the pieces here.
    • No offense intended,  but I will take the word of an actual administrator in that system on that question.
    • My guess is, this has absolutely nothing to do with athletics. I could be completely wrong. Just going to let this play out over the next few days/weeks before throwing accusations around. Funny how when OR benefits from “transfers” it is because of the incredible school system and never for athletics because most people can’t afford the “tuition”! Going to be interesting to say the least.    And if AC is turning anybody in, shame on them. They have benefited and work the system more than most over the years.
    • I think if either were their own school system then it wouldn't have happened. Of course a lot will make sense if they student who got their grades changed was an athlete
