You're right, the Hawks would, and did, loose to Memphis YOMCA. Memphis was the class of the state tournament and I'm guessing they finished #1. The Hawks played 4 quarters and never quit. The point you choose to ignore is that Gomab showed no respect to the Hawks and was blinded by a bunch of "all-stars" who were masquerading as a "team" and failed big time. The Thunder is a joke- a bunch of kids who worry about head bands, dunks and braded hair more than playing the game as a team and winning as a team. When they played Memphis their players quit and stopped playing. No one ran the floor. No one played defense. Players on the bench were pouting like a bunch of babies. THEY QUIT! There's nothing worst any athlete can do. Time to tear the Thunder apart and start over.

gandolf, It is hard to believe this stuff is going on on the Thunder. I know one coach who I believe coaches the 15 year olds and I know he wouldn't allow these crazy antics. It is just hard to believe. Has high school basketball come to this? If so it really makes it hard on the high school coaches that try to keep the integrity of the game!

He is not referring to the 15-under team. Coach Hobson will not stand for that. He has his Thunder team disciplined. These boys are winners. They will fight to the end to win a game. I think he is referring to the 17 year old Thunder who was in Memphis this week.

I'm with Gandolph on this.

I witnessed the same thing that Gandolph did. The THUNDER quit, gave up, layed down and powted.

You could see the disgust on the players on the bench.

BREAK IT UP AND TRY AGAIN!
