CPA is not the better team, nor is CAK inconsistent. The flick of the foot in any of the Catholic Matches could have easily given them wins instead of narrow defeats. Now if they had been blown away, then we could honestly have some hope. However, let's face it.....they are going for five in a row. They will be focused and CPA should fall 3 - 0.

QUOTE(BUBBA61 @ May 22 2007 - 06:16 PM) 826464687[/snapback]I've heard rumors of a revamped CAK plan of attack. No goalie or defense...11 aggressive wildmen in what can best be described as a blitzkrieg offense. With CAK's speed and talent I can't see them scoring less than 10 goals with this new strategy.

Post of the day, bar none.

Though far from the norm in High School Athletics, the CPA and CAK teams got together tonight for a meal and a time of fellowship together at the home of one of the CPA Seniors. It was an awesome time and I am so glad BigG approached us with the idea of doing this on Sunday.

I know both teams will come out tomorrow with full intensity, but the event tonight is what High School Athletics is all about. They all had fun around the pool and there was no awkwardness at all. These two schools share a common vision and even though they will be adversaries tomorrow, there is a tighter bond that is far bigger than a single soccer game.

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
