Crush Arsenal who won state last year beating TNFC in the finals. I know these two teams will play in the finals together no doubt, its just a matter of...will TNFC come to play. Cause if they do...then their unbeatable in the state of Tennessee. But..last year they didnt come to play and Crush took advantage and dominated the game. I say close game but TNFC wins 2-1

QUOTE(R.U.R. @ May 30 2007 - 01:35 PM) 826469091[/snapback]where are regionals this year? and will u18 impact even go if they make it/? since everyone will just be going to college and i guess it doesnt really matter anymore

I think regionals are in Oklahoma this year. Impact has already earned a bid to be there, by winning the Premier League. They will not be attending though, not even if they win state.

Memphis FC U-17 Boys just won the Memphis Invitational Tournament U-18 bracket.

They beat a very solid Springfield, IL 90 and 89 club in doing so.

They don't play U-17 tournaments any more. Fury and MFC (two semi-finalists last year) came together.

All due respect to TNFC and Crush, but they haven't beaten MFC by more than one goal for two years.

Crush and MFC tied at state last year.

Clearly, TNFC and Crush are better teams.

But, as our CBHS boys know, the better team does not always win.

Good luck to all of the teams.

As always it depends on which teams can get their form back quickly. Some high schools are still having their end of the season banquets. No predictions, but there should be some surprises this year.

U-14: TNFC, KFC, TN Rush

U-15: Anybody, Select should be the favorite going into the tournament.

U-16: Anybody, all teams are equal and have been for a while.

U-17: TNFC, KFC, MFC, PSA, ERSA, don't know who the sixth will be.

U-18: Anybody, depends on who has something to play for this year.

u-14 - TNFC (won the R3PL) or TN Rush

u-15 - This is the most open group in the tournament, East TN, Eastridge, Gryphons, TNFC, Memphis, TN Rush anybody could win.

u-16 - Should be Kickers or KFC, but could be a surprise from Middle TN

u-17 - TNFC or KFC, MFC and PSA may push them close but they are a level below

u-18 - Could be anybodies, depends which players are really bothered.

With that being said... both coaching positions in the same district open... which one of these jobs is the best job and why?  also, it is a coincidence that they both leave at the same time...

    • good points. I guess the question is do the coaches need to be out of the classroom and get paid for just coaching. maybe move the coaching jobs to just coaching and no teaching. that would open up the coaching ranks to some good coaches that are not qualified to teach. Then you could do contracts and pay them whatever you want to pay them. move the positions to contracts.  Just like college. Thoughts?
