Top Prospects for 2009

CLass of 2010: HOw is Tyler RObinson not bringing interest , my boy tyler screams D1, hes got what it takes to play on the next level. Im surprised he hasnt been mentioned more on this thread

 

 

I saw him play against White House,and I agree he has the size,speed,and skills to play D1. He should be getting some serious looks his SR. year.

Lets not forget about East Literature and what players they have.

Shawn Garrett RB/FS 5'9 160lbs. He's a hard nose runner with good speed when it is needed.

Lamar Moore OL/LB 5'8 235lbs. He can get to the ball and get where he needs to get. Not to mention he's a smashmouth football player.

 

Both of these players should make a huge impact at whatever college they go to.

Opoku-Darkwa will be top 5 in-state in 2010. Really thought he was 2010.

 

 

Darkwa is currently a junior. he will be a top prospect next year, his senior year

But Garrett avg. 11 yds a carry and 2 TDs a game. he's just kicking field goals. That's good and all but we're talking bout skills here. Moore is 235lbs. at 5'8 and avg. at least a good 10-12 tlks a game. These guys are truly D-1 prospects.

Shonte Sims S and Lennies McFerren RB at Henry Co. are both very impressive JR's. They are already receiving major D-1 interest.

I believe that McMinn County has many great athletes, they do run an explosive offense. Mcdermott is one of the best athletes in the state. I also believe that the cherokees will be hard to penetrate this year due to their offensive line all returning. Conner Vestal is 6'2" to 6'3" and is about 275.....he will be the anchor that holds the line together. They are going to be a team to watch this year!!!!!!

Tyler is a rising senior and will graduate in 2010 from Alcoa High School.

Luke Jackson.. LB/FB/DE. 6' 215lbs.. very good athlete, quick and very strong has a nose for the football and pack a punch.. great leader for the Coalfield Jackets..
