Manning just won his first ever championship combining both college and pro. Vince single handedly won one for Texas and when he has the same amount of years in the NFL as Manning he will have more Super Bowl rings.

 

 

I like Vince, I loved what he did to USC. Hes great, but the Titans have a long way to go before they pass Jacksonville and Indy. The Jaguars could be the team to beat.

 

I dont doubt Young's ability, but the rest of the team is suspect

The Titans passed the jags last year...both finished 8-8 but the Titans had a better division record so they finished second in the division.

Football is not a singlehanded sport, remove the 5 lineman and Young would be the 1st QB in NFL history to rush for -10,000 yards

Awh come on croz. He is just our hometown hero. He is out before the half in most our games. Like a few other teams we know they stay in to build stats. If he stayed in against MJC, Clay co., and RBS last year he would have had over 1000 yds in the three games alone without being winded. Not to mention the other games he was pulled from to get the back up QB playing time. Its just a matter of how coaches handle a team. If they paly Justin the entire game every game. I would bet there would be a new state record for a QB in running yardage. Then thats not what GV football is all about.

 

I agree with you on this one....same thing will happen at FCS this year.....the 2nd and 3rd group of guys will get plenty of time in several games....this is a good thing...in more ways than one

      I’m not familiar with Metro. Maybe someone who is will chime in. I’ve seen them shuffled in small systems, so it shouldn’t be a problem at all in Metro, if they do want him in another building.

      Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.

      Yeah, I’ve seen it cause issues too. I read in a newspaper that he was just going to teach, so I assumed it was at CRHS. Maybe I misunderstood. Are there any guys on his staff ready to take it over?
