I just wanted to get on here and say that im sorry for the earlier comment bout "haney and melton......so untrue" that was my mother speaking. also replying to the matter that fearbong had earlier addressed about JK running the ball to much, i am "JK", or JK being in the wrong position i would like to apologize for all those things and say that i have no problem with our offensive co. but i dont call the plays i just execute them to the best of my abilities. i also agree with the fact that shawn armes should be the starting tailback, as he is the one with the big play ability and is also a better natural runner than me. I would also like to add that being @ 239 lbs. i dont see me breaking many 80 yard runs and see myself better contributing to the team at the fullback position and spelling armes and armes at tailback. and as for coach k, showstoppa47, i respect him more than a lot of other people in my life and he might have had more influence than a lot of people but any one that has ever played for coach k knows that he has always hung his head when he gets down by a touchdown because he hates to lose. good luck at the big UT fearbong and i hope to see you and your ladyfriend at the game cheering for us. Go jackets! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

jk don't get me wrong you are a good running back at some points in the game but if you want to go on and play ball in college you need to play fullback. And you r right about not being the type of back they will break long runs but still doing what you can to help out the team. We know it isn't ur fault that you carry the ball so much during the game so just don't listen to people if they get mad at you cause i went through the same stuff back when i was in high school. It doesn't matter if coach wants you to run the ball 30 times a game or 3 times make sure you run at the best of your ability and things will begin to fall in place.

Haha..... yea me and my new lady friend will be there. Its nice to see you understand things, never was I blaming you for not having much production in the back field. When "me" a fan can sit on the sideline and call the plays about 75% of the time, I mean something needs to change there. I've told everyone this that I would have Noah at QB, Sean at RB, you at FB, running the option. By the 4th quarter giving the ball to a 240~lb FB takes a tole on the defense. I honestly say that your offensive cord has cost you probably 2 of the loses. Yes, my senior year we made Ted look like a pro off. cord, but that was all he had to do was to put the ball in 1 of 3 kids hands and it had a chance to score. You guys dont have that, compare it to UT as right now we dont have that game-changing homerun hitter. But we still putting up points and moving the ball.

Someone said something about me my senior year also, didnt look at name idrk. There was no jealous on that 2004 team, I can assure you of that. Yes, I wanted the ball every play, but what kind of athlete are you if you dont want the ball as much as possible? I'm sure my buddy MPG thought the same, thats not being jealous, I never cared about my TDs, Yards or anything. I did have a problem when we lost to Greenbak in the season though. Even MPGs dad told me they should have gotten the ball to me more, I touched the ball 3x and scored 2x. Yes, I was upset because in my mind if I would have gotten the ball more we would have won, but hey thats just me being a immature high school kid. Looking back on things like that just brings a smile to me, seeing how much I've matured over the past few years.

JK you been running that J-train any? Dont act like you dont know what I'm talking about, because I know how all you youngens are acting at school. Might wanna adress that in a team meeting, seems the kids minds might be on girls instead of football.

I have heard that all of the coaches at Coalfield tells their players this I should had quit or I going to quit. That is a great message your teaching those kids if you dont get it your way just quit. And I do not know if it is true about a player talking back to the coach but if it is true the kids should be off the team. Coalfield is all about who you are the rules are not the same for everyone and that is a shame. I hope they get a princpal soon that might help down there get some respet back. Best of luck Jackets hope you get this straighten out this year.

I am just an outsider looking in for many years. Coalfield had problems in 04 with Moms and players crying about playing time. (almost destroyed team in mid season.) Some people on here are "the pot calling the kettle black"

I'm still lost man, moms and players crying about playing time? Has there ever been a sports team that players didnt want to play more or moms didnt want their kids to play more? I was on the field playing, was captain, I thought I knew most of what was going on between the players and coaches on and off the field that year...... Can you tell me a player that should have been playing more on that team that didnt? I mean sounds like you know more than me about that team........... So fill us in.

Those 3 games we lost, Midway= didnt get in the right offense until it was 2 late in the game. As the 2nd round showed that. Greenback= we had that game won, but they was just the better team that night. CAK= Our defense coach kept us running a cover "4" and we as players tried to do our own thing, but CAK picked up apart. Still put us 49points, if you remember it was 49-49 with 6:00 left to go.

Lets hear your take on it.

Sounds like you have no respect for nobody but yourself. It is always the coaches fault then and now. Maybe you should have another sit down and not practice. Coaches bad at Cumberland also?

Ok, I've heard enough of this bull from people trying to kick Coalfield while they're down. It's not the coaches fault in any way whatsoever. They bust their tails to try and get these kids fired up but you can only do so much if you've got 40 or so Terrell Owens clones on your team attitude wise. Coalfield's biggest problem is the attitudes of the PLAYERS, NOT the coaches. I have all the respect in the world for Coach Kries and his staff and am pulling for them to turn it around. People complaining about Coach Kries "not being there" don't know the situation. I will not divulge into it here, but he's been having a rough time dealing with things that are (GASP) more important than football. If you were going through what he's had to go through, football would be a LOT less important to you too.

Also, to the parents whining about their kid not getting any playing time, shut up. There is probably a good logical reason your kid is not getting the ball or getting to play. Could it be that little so-and-so isn't good enough to play? PERISH THE THOUGHT! Those kids have to make EFFORT to earn playing time, not get it just because of who Mommy and Daddy is in the community.

So all the people trying tear the program apart can either shut up or take their ball and go home. Now if you all want to rip me apart, that's fine, but what I'm saying is the honest-to-God truth.

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
