Locked Topics

Why does a topic become locked? Just curious. The particular topic I question is one that I hope stays off the message boards, for all involved.

Moderators or I lock them. Sometimes we delete them but sometimes we lock them because then fans know it has already been discussed. When you delete them fans will sometimes start the topic again not realizing it has been covered already.

Coacht this does not have to do with locked topics. but i was looking back for the championship thread on 2012 huntingdon/gordensville title game and can not find it. could you help me out and tell mr how to find it.
