its unfortunate this district is matched up with district 9 in region 5. sure makes it hard to get past regionals

Had a couple teams strong enough to do it last year (Central, Fairview, Harpeth CA). In fact, Fairview did and was the first team to win a region game from District 10 since I can remember. And I've been involved with MC soccer and this district for almost ten years now. All of the teams in District 10 had big turnovers and lost a lot of talented seniors. It would be great to see another win this year, but my gut feeling tells me it probably won't.

 

You are correct about the difficulty, though, and a discussion about this always brings up the private/public debate. (Which nobody wants to deal with.) Soccer's a crazy game though and anybody can win on any given night.
