Harriman out played Coalfield tonight. But I seen Harriman give 1 cheap shot after another tonight both benches were cleared once during the game with 2 players from Coalfield being thrown out and only 1 from harriman. #77 for Harriman should had been ejected very dirty player but the refs never ejected him. I do not like calling players out but this was terrible. 1 fan from harriman was taken to jail for coming on the field. No call for action like this.

harriman players are awful. they show no class at all. coalfield beat harriman four years in a row but each year coalfield shook their hands. when harriman left the field tonight without shaking coalfields hands and then taunted them outside their locker room, i lost all respect for harriman players. i have never seen a school win a game then run of the field and taunt the other team. harriman has no class what so ever. At least coalfield can win with class and lose with class.

sorry to here about the sportsmanship. I am from Oneida and we enjoyed both teams play. It is a shame when coaches cant keep control of their players. this is why some schools have to stop playing each other. But at the same time I can understand players giving their all and geting frustrated when it doesnt turn out the way they think it should . they are young and hopfuly they will learn from it. thanks for the score .sounds like it could have been one to remember.

I don't know what happened on the field to start the fight so I won't say much about it other than both coaching staffs did an excellent job in separating the players as quickly as possible. Even before the police got on the field. I did see a couple of Harriman fans escorted off the field in handcuffs. I don't know if they were involved in the fight or not, but they had no business on the field.

As far as not shaking hands, that was probably a wise decision because another fight could have broken out. I don't think Coach Kreis and his staff were mad about that.

I did hear Harriman's players saying something near the field house door, but I don't know what it was because I was talking to Coach Tapp. I hope they were just celebrating their win, but if they weren't I imagine Coach Tapp will hold them accountable.

I also expect that Coach Tapp and Coach Kreis will go over and over the tape and they will hold their players accountable for their actions. I'd say more than the three players that got ejected will sit next week and it will be a coach's decision and not TSSAA's.
