Up and coming guard

I heard that a sophmore guard from volunteer high school's last year girl freshman/JV squad gave up a starting position on varsity this year and transferred to another school. She was touted as possibly the best girl basketball player to ever attend volunteer and would have a big impact on upper east tn baketball. Anyone know who she is and where she went?

I heard she has enrolled at Shelbyville High School in middle Tenn. They have a way of finding and getting great players. Good luck to her.

Bolivar Central High School has a freshmen as a guard. She has been the MVP at the Middle School for the past 3 years and MVP of the small school sectional championship in Memphis this year in February. They hosted Dyersburg in the Hall of Fame game last night. She was the leading scorer with 21 points. She is quick and capable of the big plays. Bolivar girls have been in a slump for the past 2 years and things are looking up for them. Good luck to all of the girls. We are behind you 100%.

I don't know where you heard that from but volunteer didnt lose any starting point guard. Especially from the jv team. Point guard was pretty much set before who ever that was moved, and i dont remember anybody leaving that could be the best player to ever attend volunteer either. SOMEONE GAVE YOU SOME FALSE INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!

    • He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
