I agree totally. The Administrators at Tennessee High are really starting to get on my nerves the way he pester the kids throughout the games about petty things. They want the students to come out and support their team but they don??™t allow them to interact with the game. During the THS vs SHHS game they decided not to play the music at halftime, so the student sections created their own halftime entertainment that started with cheering on a little fan on the court and ended with a dual between the two Cheerleading squads taking turns trying to top each other doing flips. It was very entertaining to me and seemed like good ???clean school spirited??? fun until the Vikings Administrator stepped in to ruin the fun. I guess he thought the Cheerleaders would get mad and put down there pompoms and break out the brass knuckles. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Every time I looked up he was pulling one of the students out of the student section to talk to them. I wish he would just give them a break for a change.

You're right on the mark. DB's students sat in the lower bleachers and THS' AD came over to us and tried to make us move to the other side of the court. He said if we stood up, he would make us move to the other side. We told him we would not stand up but he insisted on us to move. He then came over to us numerous times during the game complaining about people being in the aisles and nonsene of this sort. He just needs to chill.

Was the teacher Mr Greg "Wrong" (Wright) with you? He got kicked out along with some students several years ago at an away game. Now that is Kingsport education's finest teaching our kids.

Skunk, since I cant reply on the last thread I will here. And since you brought up Christmas, remember, Santa is watching. Try to tell the truth! See Rough Rider, I know you now and even your Knox Vegas days. You can BS some, but not the ones that know you. Getting a scholarship and actually playing are 2 different things. And I am not talking about an injury that ends a career, but the ability to attend class and stay in school. And yes I can speak to what colleges should do and shouldnt do. Perhaps not what you agree with, but get over it. And yes the Alumni Field House has not lived up to the sales pitch of "Building Strong Bodies and Strong Minds". It is however BUILDING a very strong case for cancer of the mouth with all of the tobacco use that is allowed by students and teachers in that facility (even during the school day). FYI- As an active member of the QB club you are aware of the use and it IS against the law. As an insurance agent you may need to check the D and O policy. Feliz Navidad!

I think you will be hard pressed to find any coach in the Big 9 that believe they get more calls than TH when they play them. I remember only one ref last year that called both Central and TH's games, the "ARBY's proposer". You know who I am talking about. When he is on the floor he takes "CONTROL" of the game. As long as the Arby's is at Tenn. High, all the other school's will be at a disadvantage. Because the officials don't want to get banned from calling in the biggest tournament in this area. I think you may be making excuses before the game is even played. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

The same ref you refer to as ???the proposer??? called a phantom foul on the last shot of the game by Omar Wattad that sent him to the line with less than a second on the clock in the District Championship game in 05??™ with THS up by one. Wattad won the game from the line. They played the replay over and over on the news because clearly it was not a foul and the ref had the best veiw in the house! I might add that this all happened IN Viking Hall.

Anyway there is an agency hired to supply the officials for the Arbys and they decide who works and when during the tournament. It has been that way for YEARS. But I understand you not knowing because before these last two years I think the last time Central has been invited was when I was in school. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I??™m not making excuses because there truly would not be any excuse to lose to Central this year. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> I??™m just saying that anything could happen considering how the first part of the season has gone for the Vikings (East and Volunteer). Remember in my preseason predictions I predicted East and Volunteer being upset specialist and that has proven to be true as far as the Vikings are concerned. But Central is in the BOTTOM half of the conference as far as I"M concerned...as I predicted. I might add that the Vikings were 9 and 5 going into the post season in 05??™ and ended the season in Murphysboro??¦so all is not lost. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I??™m trying to get ???Big 9 Basketball??? out of this post, but even with my eyes squinted??¦I just don??™t see it. If you in fact know Skunk personally surely you can get his phone number or address. Only a weasel would confront a man the way you just did on a public board. Be a man and go to the man if you have a problem with him??¦this is not the forum for your personal attacks!!

If Central is in the bottom of the conference, Where is TH? Central is 2-3 in the conf. and if I'm not mistaken TH is 2-4. This makes TH behind Central in the conference /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Two of the 3 losses has been on the road at SH and DB. We played East as close as TH did. Had a big lead and couldn't hold it. As far as the Arby's, There is no such thing as "agency", these are picked by the tournament director. And we know who he is. I personally know 2 officials that had a run in with him and are not allowed to officiate. Central was invited last year and chose not to go.

Do you think they hire each official individually for every basketball game??? And who do you think keeps track of all of that, Dale!? You truly don??™t have a clue! And I know at least one of the two officials you are talking about. He ejected me from the only game I have ever been ejected form in 6 years of AAU??¦and my team was up by 30 when it happened!! They probably won??™t even let him ref chicken fight in this area!!! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

That Arbys ref argument is as lame as your posts!!

And just in case you haven??™t been paying attention to Centrals games, they are the ???Slaughter Rule Kings???!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

If you get ejected and being up by 30, you're a bigger joke of a coach than I ever thought. Do you mean AAU or just local tournaments. I don't remember a sub-state or state in this area in a long time. Because I'm sure they wouldn't let you coach a national team. So I don't know where you would have this ref in AAU. I guess what I meant to say is he tells who schedules the ref's, "who he DON'T want". /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> . Same thing. Is this Agency your talking about the CI Agency? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Oh by the way I have never seen a chicken fight, "you mean roosters".
