I just saw the results of the West Sectional Meet. It would appear to me that this meet was hand timed, and if this is the case, how does qualification to the state meet work when the East and Middle meets are FAT and the West is hand timed?

 

It looks like the first two races were FAT, and then after the 100 hurdles their all HT.

Apparently Carter was taking it easy in the Sub-Sectional since he was able to go .84 seconds faster when it counted.

 

I'm glad I don't have any sprinters or relays sitting in the 3rd or 4th spots in the East and Middle sections waiting to get one of the extra qualifying spots.

Its funny. Memphis attempts to make their times alot faster, and yet the winning time for the 800 was 2:07, and 2nd place was 2:08....... wow memphis is soooo strong
