I will always remember Roth gettin T'd for flippin a bird to the LSU crowd.

He will tell you that flippin' the bird was a mistake he made but I think it was hilarious.

 

He is also doing color on the radio for local high school games in Northwest Tennessee on WCMT.

That was so freaking funny I am laughing right now after being reminded of it. I wonder if Mr. Roth has a pilots license to fly that little birdie--LOL!!

Here's another funny story about Roth, from his senior year in high school. Karns vs William Blount ... I believe it was finals of regional tournament ... at Karns ... they're introducing the Karns starters ... they dim the lights, start the music in the background, they starters actually leave the floor ... as their names are announced they come running through the door, across the baseline through a tunnel of fans, make the turn in front of their student section and then go to midcourt. They call out "Doug Rothhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! He comes lumbering through the tunnel and when he gets to the corner, he misses the turn, trips and takes out about three rows of students in the cheering section. It was hilarious.
