War Eagles
If the Tennessee Tigers that I'm thinking of that is playing in this tournament, they should win because they have Vanderbilt Committment and Top 50 player John Jenkins, Z Mason, and Hunter Miller. The team I'm thinking of is called the Tennessee YOMCA Tigers, but I'm pretty sure this is the same Tennessee Tigers team. The Midstate Ballerz also have a good shot of winning this tourney too. Jim Harrick
A 5-1 weekend for the Franklin Rage proved to be packed with tons of emotion leading up to the final game. The much improved play of 6'9 big man James Haddix has given the Rage a big time scoring threat in the paint. Haddix averaged almost 14ppg along side the steady Michael Young who in the quarter-finals poured in 27 pts and nailed a 3 at the buzzer to punch the Rage's ticket to the semis. Peyton Henry has also proved to be an immediate impact when he hits the floor knocking down big threes or pushing the ball down the floor. Much props to the TN Tigers, who are loaded with talent. They dominated the final game by coming at the Rage with scorers all over the place. They may be the states best team. The Rage finshed 5-1 with wins over N. Gators, Team Nashville Red, SE Raiders, Team Nashville Blue, Ballerz East. Previously @ Kingwood Classic (3-1)Gold Bracket @ King Of The South (4-2) 2nd Place Next Up: D-1 State @ Memphis (May 30)

titansfan06
Tigers 83 - Rage 53 That's what happens when the Rage plays a real AAU team. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
Jim Harrick
That's what happens when the Rage plays a real AAU team. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> I guess it's easy for you to poke fun at the Rage sitting at your computer. The Rage may not have National guys, but they do compete on a consistant basis for the most part when matched up with "National Teams". Last year's strong elite 8 National finish, with a sweet 16 win over the state Champion Ballerz I guess has no merit? At state this year, the Rage lost 65-62 to the Ballerz state champion team in the semis, who beat the Memphis YOMCA. Yeah, the TN Tigers did handle the Rage easily at substate, but I wouldn't generalize the Rage on that one performance. Before you start bashing the Rage program, think about what you write or say. The Rage dodges no teams and plays anybody they have the opportunity to play.
