Top 6

1.Maplewood

2.McGavock

3.Antioch

4.Hillsboro

5.Stratford

6.Glencliff

Maplewood should be pretty good next year because of their guards and experience that their players have in the state tourney.

McGavock had a very young team last year with AJ and Donnel starting at guards as sophmores. I think that they should be pretty good next year because of how good they were last year with the young team that they had.

I expect Antioch to be a solid team next year with Tyuan Trice, Nolan Richardson, and Marlon Gordon in the backcourt.

Hillsboro should be good next year because of their post players. The have Chris Russell, Joe Sanders, Walter Fisher, and Calvin Bryant down low. Thats the best combination of post players known in middle TN.

Stratford should be OK next year with alot of sophmores stepping up next year. I really don't expect them to be as good as last year but give them a year or two.

I haven't seen Glencliff this summer but they should be alright next year looking at their roster. Jamont, Roman, Keith.

I agree that the four top AAA teams in Nashville this year will be 1)Maplewood, 2)Antioch, 3)Hillsboro, and 4)McGavock, but I think in that order....

Coach Gamble....I'll be at a bunch of your games, as I really like your team this year, led by one of my favorites, Barry Gardner, and Bubba Taylor (not to mention, Frank, Jamal, Ricardo, Brandon, etc)...

i agree with the picks above. i think antioch will be good but how will they gel. will they be able to develop chemistry. they have great individual players but cant they play as a team. mcgavock learned last year how good they can be if they play as a team. those factors will also determine how good glencliff will be. they have a great starting 5, but are very emotional and can implode at any minute. if glencliff can keep its composure watch out, they will be a sleeper.

Last year in AAA the two districts in Nashville met up in the region. The region with Whites Creek, Maplewood, McGavock, and Stratford swept every team in the other district. This year I believe things are going to be a little bit different depending on who plays who.

I seen Franklin in Summer League and they will not be as close to as good as they were last year. They had probably lost every game they played by 15 or more points. They had a very young team with alot of sophmores, but their freshman team was pretty good last year, so I give them a couple of years. I think that they need a pg.

Coach Gamble thanks for giving us some respect @ CHS. Good luck to you in your last year of coaching. Everybody seems to writes us off every single year. If we play to our potential hopefully we can surprise some people this year and turn some heads. Thanks for the comment. Another thing? What do you guys thin about 11-AAA?

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
